| String-wound filter cartridges are offered in a multitude of materials and efficiencies to provide economic filtration solutions, while optimizing fluid compatibility and process requirements. Behringer offers media materials such as cotton, polypropylene, rayon, nylon, polyester, and glass. Media are offered in standard (nominal) efficiencies, increased (HVVTM ) efficiencies and dirt-holding capacities, and absolute-rated (HVVTM+) efficiencies. HVV, or "High Void Volume" technology is a precise patterning process that creates a higher void volume area in the graded density depth filter media. This allows for a higher dirt-holding capacity, higher efficiencies, and better dirt-unloading properties. HVV filter cartridges typically yield dirt-holding capacities double that of conventional wound cartridges. Absolute-rated string-wound cartridges with HVV+ technology use the precise patterning process that standard HVV elements are manufactured with, offer efficiencies up to 99.99%. This absolute-rated cartridge yields higher dirt-holding capacities, higher efficiencies, and better dirt-unloading properties than standard cartridges.
