MAHLE Pi230 Lube Filter

Features
  • Two standard sizes to accommodate different flow rates and fluid viscosities.
  • Wide selection of elements; various micron ratings, standard construction, "CC" coreless construction, unique Ultra-High Dirt Holding Capacity Element.
  • Single, Duplex and Multiple Manifold arrangements available. Multiple Manifold arrangements can include individual housing isolation valves to facilitate element change-out without interrupting system flow.
  • Unique bypass valve arrangement that virtually eliminates the potential for valve failure due to contamination.
Mahle's Pi230 Series Filter is designed for filtering high viscosity lubrication fluids. This type of filter has been used as a standard for years on pulp and paper mill Lube systems. Mahle offers a Unique Ultra-High Dirt Holding Capacity Element that will reduce the total number of filter housings required on a lube system. For example, for an application where "Manufacturer A" requires a manifold with 6 filter housings, Mahle would only require a manifold with 4 filter housings, thereby reducing the initial cost as well as the number of replacement elements required for change-out.
